In celebration of World Localization Day today, Elevate has partnered with Local Futures to stream the premiere of 'Planet Local: A Quiet Revolution.', a brand new inspirational film featuring Helena Norberg-Hodge, Russell Brand, Vandana Shiva, Dr Gabor Maté and more.
World Localization Day celebrates the worldwide localisation movement. For the third year in a row, people all over the world are coming together to explore the power of localisation to recapture our autonomy from global corporations and foster deep and profound change at a local level.
The film is both a powerful critique of economic globalisation and a celebration of the kaleidoscope of grassroots initiatives that together form a growing movement for change, moving away from corporate rule towards the true democracy that more local markets make possible.

Huella Meraki is the community café in Órigva. As you approach Órigva, just before the bridge, take the left turn which leads you under the bridge. Drive down about 50m and the car park is on the left, among eucalyptus forest.
